In most cases window leaks are associated with faulty window heads or building façade flashings or faulty cavity wall construction. G.L. Capasso, Inc. can remove the affected area of masonry directly over the window lintel and install a new flashing system, vents and weeps to properly waterproof the cavity wall that provides a watertight seal.
Some older building façades, may require historical preservation techniques to adhere to aesthetics. Over the years, we have developed a removal method by which 90% of the removed masonry is salvaged and reused. Additional replacement units are stained to match and provide a completely aesthetically pleasing repaired finish.
