GL Capasso Restoration, Inc. is recognized as a leader in the exterior building restoration and high-rise maintenance industry in the Northeastern United States. Giuseppe Capasso, along with his wife Luisa, established GL Capasso Restoration, Inc. in 1965 as a small masonry-contracting firm. Giuseppe worked in the field, while Luisa managed the office. Since that time operations have expanded to include a broad range of building masonry and consulting services.

Giuseppe Capasso founded GL Capasso Restoration with a great respect for outstanding brick and stone buildings. In 1960 Giuseppe came to this country with nothing but the true art of stone cutting and carving. He learned masonry in his native Messacola, Italy, starting at age 11 sweeping up after his uncle. By age 15 he was a full-fledged mason earning $2.00 a day.

Time has passed since Giuseppe stepped off the boat, but at GL Capasso Restoration we know about old buildings and emulate the work of yesteryear's artisans through his knowledge. In fact, every tradesman who works with the company benefits from the hands-on experience and knowledge that Giuseppe has aquired. GL Capasso Restoration is dedicated to quality - only hiring and training the best in the industry.

GL Capasso Restoration is family-owned and operated. Indeed, three generations of the Capasso family have spent more than 40 years building the company into one of New England's leading exterior structural restoration companies. Giuseppe is still active in the business, regularly working in the field and carrying out projects.

Giuseppe's two sons, Vincenzo and Carmine Capasso, are actively involved in the company. Vincenzo learned his trade from his father, and like Giuseppe, works in the field carrying out projects. Carmine has taken a hands-on approach - learning every aspect of the trade from the ground up. His expensive field experience allows him to accurately estimate the time and costs of jobs. He also manages many of the logistical aspects for each project and ensures that they run smoothly and efficiently.
